Trying To Be A Waldorf

A few weeks ago I was shopping in New Look in Leeds, not the Trinity store, but the one by Sainsbury's that plays the really high pitched sound into the store every few minutes. Anyone?

I always rush around for this reason, and don't stop for long, so I guess I was lucky that someone stuck this coat in the wrong place. It's a kids coat, Age 14-15, shhhhhh, and it was just £15! That paired with the endless amounts of Gossip Girl I've been watching and I rushed to the till. Unfortunately, I had a very strange experience. First off, the sales assistant asked if it was for me, I was pretty embarrassed due to it being a kids coat, but said it was. She then went on to say "Yeah I tried it on and was going to get it, but then changed my mind." I mean, who hired you?! Basic customer service skills?! Oh well, I got a beautiful coat out of the trip.

Coat - New Look, Jumper - Zara, Skirt - H&M, Shoes - Ebay
To not overpower the blue coat, I kept the outfit simple with my leather skirt, and this beautiful Zara jumper which I've instagrammed the life out of. The neckline is beautiful! Slightly high necked but not fitted, just beautiful. Want it in other colours but unfortunately I purchased it in the sale so none are available anymore!

What do you think of Pastel Coats? Have you ever purchased Children's clothes for yourself?

Such a lovely colour! I discovered last year that New Look kids section has shoes that go up to a size 4 ;) got some pretty sweet sandals for the summer. Shameless.

Girl, children clothes are my best kept secret! Haha you can get things at a lower price and it fits just as nice. I guess there are perks for more petite girls? Also loving your outfit match up. Super cute :)

I love your coat, I would never think it was the kids section. I definitely need to try that trick. That women sounds just plain rude! I hate bad customer service, the only thing worse is when shops have the music blasting obnoxiously loud.
