Khaki and Fringe

A couple of weekends ago I attended The City Girls event in Sheffield (keep tuned for multiple posts of the amazing goodies we received). It was a brilliant event and I got to meet lots of new faces, and catch up with some old ones too. Lorna and Holly (the organisers) were really friendly and they had some BRILLIANT brands on board, I got my eyebrows done by Benefit, my boobies measured by Panache, to browse the amazing collections that Second Thread stock and even got to make my own Face Mask with Lush! Me and some of the girls lugged our heavy bags of treats back to Sheffield station, stopping half the way to take some outfit snaps, and giving in and getting a taxi shortly after, Whoops!

Also a huge thank you to the lovely Laura from Fashion, Eats and Treats for these snaps!

I've definitely got some OBSESSION with the Utility trend going on. There was plenty of Khaki in my previous outfit post too. This amazing jacket is actually a size 14, it was in the sale at Select for just £15, (£13.50 with student discount) and I just couldn't resist!). There's still stock online and I'd definitely recommend it as the perfect spring/summer transition jacket!

I also LOVE this primark fringe crochet top, I think it was just £5, which is an absolute bargain in my opinion. I'm definitely going to wear this to death over the summer so expect to see a lot more of it! Here I've worn it over a simple black cami from Topshop but it's actually not that sheer on the main part so is completely fine with no top underneath. Perfect for a beach cover-up!

I love this look, right down to the accessories (the gold bangle is lovely and the shoes are killer!). Sounds like you had a great time x

Those boots are just so gorgeous. And absolutely loving that top; such a strong fringing game! x
