The Khaki Waistcoat

A bit of a different location today. A couple of weeks ago me and my friend Joanna headed down to Lamberts Yard in Leeds to shoot some dancers for our final major projects. You can see a sneak peek here. While we were there, I got Joanna to do some quick snaps of my outfit. These were really dark due to the light window so have been heavily exposed so I apologise if the quality has reduced at all!

When I headed down to Arcadia for my MAA Assessment I sat in the waiting room eyeing up all the amazing outfits. One girl walked past a few times wearing this jacket and I fell in love. I left the building and headed straight to Topshop to buy it for myself. Great self restraint there ey. It's on the pricier side but so wearable, perfect with a long sleeve top on cooler days, or a stroppy top in the warm. It can be dressed up or down so nicely. I wore this same outfit but swapped out the jeans for a leather skirt and the boots for heels and was all set for a night out. Perfect!

Coachella Style & Snaps

After spending my morning pinning away some of my favourite looks and snaps from Coachella I thought it was only fitting that I shared them on here. I have fallen in  love with Pinterest and am always looking for new people to follow, so pop over to my Pinterest and have a look!

Here are some of my favourite looks (and photos) from Coachella. All have been sourced and linked below the images. You can see all of these and more over at my Coachella Pinterest Board.

A Little Weekend Round-up

Hey! Just thought I'd share a quick little round up of my weekend. I've had a mini blog break and social media (twitter) break as I've been spending all my time enjoying myself with my family, so apologies for the lack of blogging! I love that I've gone from apologising for not blogging for months, to apologising when I don't blog for a few days. Proud of myself there!

The Blue Coat

Back in the blue coat again, I still adore it. The appearance of sun has finally given me an excuse to wear sunglasses. These are dupes of Ray-bans and the first ones I had in mind when I picked out my Ray-bans for my birthday. I didn't actually like the real ones on me, so have stuck with my good old £3 version of the polarised lens, and went for a different style of aviators that I've shared already on Instagram.

The Fringed Skirt

The sun is shining and it's definitely feeling like summer is on its way!  So when Links of London challenged me to recreate my favourite Fashion Week look inspired from their Watch the World tool I had a head full of ideas. There's so many trends that I'm loving, but I really wanted to challenge myself and share something really different on my blog! The Watch the World tool is all about getting Fashion as it happens, you get a front row view of all the Fashion Weeks live as they happen, from the comfort of your own home. I love London Fashion Week and the excitement around Somerset House, but my bank balance doesn't allow me to pop over to Milan and Paris to mill around there, so this tool is the next best thing!

The Grey Coat

I am writing to you from my sick bed, so I apologise in advance if this post isn't hugely exciting or well written, wish me luck with this horrid illness. I'm definitely not going to survive working the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. Waaahhhh.

There isn't much colour in this outfit. I try to keep my day to day outfits colourful and exciting but I've also been trying to buy more key pieces that can be worn with anything, which has resulted in far more black in my wardrobe. Summer hurry up!!!
